Natural Travertine Tiles

Travertine is a very similar stone to marble (calcium carbonate) and is occasionally known under this generic name. Although Travertine is a hard stone, it has naturally occurring holes in it, meaning that out tiles are either tumbled or filled.

Tumbled travertine tiles lend themselves very well to floors and walls. Filled and honed tiles have a very smooth finish and are ideal if you are looking to achieve a contemporary effect.
